Powersave 3.8
Powersave integrates tiptap.dev and seamlessly integrates the output to Airtable, Notion but also Webhooks. You can write and format text via the user interface or you can clip HTML from websites which gets automatically reduced to formats that the target platforms supports.
If your content is stored in a rich text field, this can be a powerful upgrade to any kind of CMS flow.
Rich Text: Airtable
In case of Airtable the rich text editor reads and outputs markdown since that's what Airtable expects. Full range of Airtable markdown subset is supported: bold, italics, headers, lists, code blocks, highlights, links and also checklists.
Being able to update checklists right from Powersave as you browse the web unlocks new kinds of operation flows.
Rich Text: Notion
Notion as a primarily documented platform has advanced capabilities for formatting but when it comes to saving content to databases, which is what Powersave does, the formatting is limited to "annotations", it's not possible to pass Notion "blocks". Therefore it's possible to support bold, italics, highlights and links.
Rich Text: Webhooks
In case of webhook destinations, the Rich Text Editor behaves identically to Airtable. It outputs Markdown. In the future it might be possible to configure this: whether to output markdown or HTML and what formatting options should be enabled.
Update tab improvement
The update tab should be now more user friendly. Record matching works the same way as before but it should now be possible to always select an existing record. So you can always use update tab to find and edit a record quickly, even if the record was not matched to the current page.
